MHA Auxiliary Scholarships
MHA Foundation invests approximately $20,000 into health occupation scholarships. The scholarship application cycle is January through March with scholarship awards paid in July.

Assistance Grants for Patients in Dialysis
The MHA Foundation is able to make need-based, financial assistance grants to dialysis patients, not for treatment, but for ancillary items that might be required with the lifestyle changes and burdens to the family that go hand in hand with treatment, such as wheel chair ramps or safety bars.

Fire Department and other Community Health Grants
MHA Foundation’s ongoing support of the Payson Fire Department includes ambulance equipment/expenses, insurance, patient simulator used for training purposes, and has purchased over 25 AED’s (automated electronic defibrillator) spending more than $27,000.00 for the Rim Country community. Additionally, the Payson Fire Department in conjunction with MHA Foundation, offers free CPR and AED training classes which are held quarterly.
